"IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT . . ."

. . . been trying all day to contact these people - just get the engaged tone.

Sent my ground rent together with a sae - the envelope was delivered to me by Royal Mail this morning. It looks like the outgoing envelope may have opened in transit(?) and the contents - including statement and cheque -spilled out but despite numerous calls throughout the day it has been IMPOSSIBLE for me TO CONTACT them.

. . . So now they'll probably send me a nasty demand !

Last year they CHARGED ME £12.00 because I inadvertently used a cheque from the wrong account - I am poorly-sighted and hadn't noticed!.
